The Niagara Ontario Health Team-Équipe Santé Ontario Niagara (NOHT-ÉSON) is committed to working collaboratively and respectfully with Indigenous Peoples in Niagara to improve access to care. The organization and its partners continue to work toward reconciliation and understanding the barriers to health and well-being outcomes for Indigenous Peoples.
The NOHT-ÉSON is utilizing the Indigenous Allyship Toolkit as part of its commitment and learning. The Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Indigenous Health Network, in partnership with the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network, prepared the resource.
The toolkit is intended to support health care providers in addressing inequities. The document includes many helpful resources on advocating for social justice and addressing anti-Indigenous racism. Click here to download your copy of the Indigenous Allyship Toolkit.
