Understanding Memory Loss: A Workshop for Caregivers
Caring for someone experiencing memory loss can bring new questions, challenges and responsibilities. The Welland McMaster Family Health Team‘s forum in Fonthill will provide caregivers with an opportunity to learn more about memory loss, connect with supports and take part in a discussion with the Family Health Team and community partners.
Participating community organizations include Niagara Region Seniors Programs, the Alzheimer Society, Happy in My Home, the Ontario Caregiver Organization and Behavioural Supports Ontario.
The afternoon is designed to help caregivers support, learn and connect, while becoming more familiar with resources available in the community.
