The Health Equity Working Group aims to support the NOHT-ÉSON in ensuring a system of health and social services where every person has the opportunity to meaningfully access services, realize their full health potential, and where the diverse populations that make up the Niagara region, including Indigenous, Francophones and many others, are supported and not disadvantaged due to language, issues related to colonization and/or other factors related to the social determinants of health.
This working group is in the process of developing a health equity toolkit to be utilized not only by the NOHT-ÉSON, but also each of the organizations that partner and collaborate within it.
To contribute to this working group contact Co-Leads Celeste Turner (cturner@nfchc.ca) or Meredith Maxwell (pm@noht-eson.ca).
