SUMMARY:Practitioner Town Hall: Dementia Diagnosis and Post-Diagnostic Support in Niagara
DESCRIPTION:﻿The Practitioner Town Hall is intended for family doctors and practitioners who care for older people living with dementia.\nObjectives:\n– Increase awareness of Health Quality Ontario’s best practice standards for the care of people living with dementia.\n– Opportunity to share challenges and barriers practitioners face when completing comprehensive assessments for persons experiencing cognitive changes.\n– Increase awareness of post-diagnostic supports for persons living with dementia and their care partners in the community.\nFree membership to the Niagara Practitioners’ Healthcare Alliance (NPHA) is required to participate.
